- Nordcloud aims to be number one in its field in Europe
The leading public cloud infrastructure company, Nordcloud, is the winner of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 listing in 2016 in Finland. Fast 50 lists the 50 fastest growing technology companies based on revenue growth. Nordcloud’s pole position on the list was secured by an impressive growth rate of 3433% over the last four years.
“Winning Deloitte‘s Technology Fast 50 listing shows that we have chosen the right path by concentrating on public cloud services. When Nordcloud was founded, there was no other company that was doing what we were going to do. We had the courage to believe in our vision, set our aim high, and go international right from the start,” says Esa Kinnunen, Nordcloud’s CEO and one of the founding members.
Since its inception in 2012, Nordcloud has helped over 200 enterprises to get the maximum business benefits and harness the power of the cloud. Agile customer-oriented way of working and rapid implementation of new technologies have kept Nordcloud at the head of the pack.
As the revenue has grown rapidly, so has the number of employees. Nordcloud has now over 100 highly skilled professionals in seven European countries.
“We couldn’t have reached this level of growth without the hard work of our dedicated staff. Cloud technologies evolve so fast that you must be able to learn new things all the time and adapt to constant change. Our people really are on the top of their profession,” says Mr Kinnunen.
Mr Kinnunen believes there is still much more room for growth. “Only 5% of enterprises utilise cloud infrastructure to some extent. The size of the European cloud market is hundreds of billions of euros and we still have plenty of ground left to gain. Our aim is to be number one in all Europe.”
