90 Day Finn campaign wins gold at the European Excellence Awards

The 90 Day Finn campaign, created together with Helsinki Partners, keeps on winning. This time we were awarded first place at the European Excellence Awards’ Event & Experiential Marketing category.


The purpose of the prize-winning campaign is to market the Helsinki Metropolitan Area to international highly educated professionals, investors and entrepreneurs in a distinctive and memorable way.


“90 Day Finn was established to meet the needs of the new normal. We wanted to find out whether we could draw the attention of the best international experts, entrepreneurs and investors. Our plan was to pilot an idea where experts could experience life in Helsinki. The project has been a success in practice as well. Participants of the first 90 Day Finn program have already founded two companies in Finland, and many other business ideas are in progress. In addition, the feedback from the participants has been very positive,” says Johanna Huurre, Business Director of Helsinki Partners.

The campaign attracted a great deal of interest and quickly went viral already in its first year. The articles created around the campaign were read more than 2.5 million times, and the videos gathered around 200,000 viewers. More than 5,300 applications were received within the five-week application period, against a target of a thousand applications. 13 participants were selected for the program.

The 90 Day Finn campaign is currently up and running again. The application is open until February 2022.
